In this example we will offer another type of discount (10%) but it will be applied through the creation and application of a discount voucher.
In order to offer this type of discount, you need to go to Discounts and then New Discount.
A pop up window will appear where you will be required to fill in the Name and state which languages the offer will be available in. Then click on Next.
In this case the percentage of discount will be applied to the total amount of the order.
Later, you will need to select Next.
In the following window you need to select the condition(s). In this case, we just want to apply the discount for a certain period of time, in this example from 27th to 29th November.
Later we will select the dates during which the discount will be applied.
When a time interval is defined, it is understood that both dates are included. For instance, in the example, the promotion will be active from 00:00:00 on 27/11 until 23:59:59 on 29/11.
Now it is necessary to add another condition, select Add condition. Remember that we wish this discount to be applied using a Activated by discount code.
To do this we select the option Activate Discount via Code in Conditions and then click on Next
Finally add a Discount Code.
In this way we have created the discount code so we can now select Finish.
A window will appear wherein the conditions created will be displayed. Remember that they should always be compatible with each other.
After this we need to define the percentage of discount to be applied, in this case 10%. We also need to define whether or not the products will be grouped together.
Finally, we are then offered a display showing all the conditions and types of discounts we have created.
