In LogiCommerce’s order cycle, there is a series of statuses where an order can be. Among these different order statuses, we can find the unfinished status.
An order will enter this status when the customer has products in the shopping basket and happens these 2 scenarios:

Do not finish the order after 2 hours.

End session (before 2 hours) using “end session”.
In this case, LogiCommerce will turn the content of the basket into an order under the unfinished status.
Orders under this status are considered failed purchase attempts, thus the customer can be notified about having an order that has not been completed.
Bear in mind that, unfinished orders can be considered incomplete purchase attempts. Otherwise, orders under incidents status cannot be considered so, as other factors might have interfered in the process.
